Still alive, guys. I've been caught up between work, family events that did not go quite as we had hoped, and a re-introduction to military service. Don't know if I mentioned it, but I was a Desert Storm Veteran with the 82d Airborne Division. Art will be coming back soon, I hope. I just have to square some stuff away first. But I'm watching. :) PS- That also means I no longer have a beard.

I wanted this to be a wonderful expose, but that isn't going to happen. I am in the middle of a birthday migraine. Funny thing is that it hurts, but I'm still in a good mood. I turned 40 today. I think they are supposed to paint everything black and do that "over the hill" bullshit. But you are in fact as old as you feel, and I still feel like I'm in my 20's. I talked some smack in my last entry, and those who don't realize I have been here on art (https://www.deviantart.com/art) for quite a while will see that as just baseless smack talking. Heck, with six total devs on this account, I see that as baseless smack talking. So I figure the best way to get myself going, to learn more, do more, experience more, is to take the fabled 100 Theme Challenge. For those who don't know what that is, it is where you take a list of 100 themes or ideas, and create a work for each one. The rules are rather fast and loose, and as for me, I'm doing mixed media. Whatever I feel is the best method in which to convey the theme to my satisfactio
